HEAT EXCHANGERS BIOMASS HEAT EXCHANGER

BIOMASS BOILERS - FORWARD LOOKING USE OF RESOURCES

Energy is a valuable and expensive commodity, with prices for gas, oil and electricity rising steadily over the years. This makes it an expensive cost factor for energy-intensive companies such as bakeries – and the search for alternatives all the more important. The focus here is on renewable energy and renewable resources: Heuft was among the first oven manufacturers to address the issue of renewable energy, and launched its first biomass boiler in 2009 at the iba, the leading international trade fair for baking in Munich. The oven can be operated with pellets or wood chips. When used in fully automatic mode, a biomass boiler has a clean carbon footprint. The climate-relevant emissions, especially when regional wood is used, are significantly lower than with fossil fuels. With this solution, economically sound management goes hand in hand with sustainable environmental protection.
